Keyboard shortcuts

These shortcuts are built in and can't be changed. For shortcuts you record yourself, see Hotkeys.

Shortcuts follow key positions, so they work the same on any keyboard layout or input source.

Everywhere in the palette

In the window picker, return adds or removes a window and ⌘return saves the room.

Dialogs

On every dialog, including ones that delete things, return clicks the main button and esc cancels. Cancel is always on the left.

Shortcuts are contextual. Use the active screen's ⌘K menu when a text field or picker has focus. Global shortcuts are assigned separately in Settings.
