Apple Shortcuts
Run your existing macOS shortcuts from Redcast, with aliases and hotkeys.
Enable Settings → Apple Shortcuts to list the shortcuts you created in Apple's Shortcuts app. Search for one by name and press Return, assign it a global hotkey or place it in a favorite slot.
What Redcast does
Redcast lists and runs your library through the macOS shortcuts tool. Creating, editing, permission prompts and the actions themselves stay in Shortcuts.app. Renaming a shortcut preserves its identity, so Redcast's alias and binding follow it.
A shortcut can perform substantial actions. Running it from the palette runs the shortcut you authored; it is not converted into a restricted Redcast command.
Keep the library current
The library is reread when the launcher opens, the Apple Shortcuts settings pane appears or the feature is enabled. A failed read preserves the last good list rather than treating it as deletion.
After a successful read confirms a shortcut was deleted, its old bindings and launcher preferences are cleaned up. If a newly created shortcut is missing, reopen the launcher and confirm it appears in Shortcuts.app.
Turn it off
With the feature off, Redcast does not run the shortcuts tool or launch a shortcut through its bindings. Your library remains in Shortcuts.app, and saved Redcast bindings become useful again when re-enabled.
