# System Settings

> Search every macOS Settings pane from the launcher.

Redcast lists System Settings panes as regular launcher entries. Type `bluetooth` or `display` and
the pane opens directly, without opening System Settings and looking for it.

Panes have their own **System Settings** section, right after Applications. Pane names use your
Mac's language, and the English names still match.

## Settings

**Settings → System Settings** lists every pane, with:

- **Enable System Settings** at the top, which removes every pane from search and turns off their
  shortcuts
- a checkbox for each pane, which only hides that pane from search
- a global **shortcut** recorder for each pane
- an **alias** field for each pane

This is most useful for giving a shortcut to a pane you open often, like Displays before a
presentation.

See [Hotkeys](/docs/reference/hotkeys) for recording shortcuts.
